This apparently is the new Oasis cover for the autumn album Dig Out Your Soul. It's frankly a little weird and a little pretentious and a lot like the single covers that Pavement were knocking out in the 1990's. Unlike Noel to copy others...

This is really not at all like the Pavement cover you reference. Is doing a collage a rip-off of all previous collage? No.
