Last FM: This month I've mostly been listening to...

...Kasabian and LCD Soundsystem by the looks of things! I really like this chart. It is one of those slightly pointless mashups that makes the internet such fun. It is useful? Well I like the colours and the shape. It looks funky and therefore interesting. In addition it accurately portrays the types of music I traditionally listen to and buy and I can kinda see how one could present this data to users and seek to monetise the listener. Therefore it is now also useful. But over and above that it underlines what a wondeful waste of time the internet can so often be!
