Setting Sun

I'm in Phi Phi and the thought of returning to the UK is dawning. It's still a rucksack walk - ferry ride - taxi haggle - nervous customs check - dubai stopover away but I can't escape the fact that it's time to go home. So some things I'll miss.

• Shouting Meter! at every city taxi driver before they can even contemplate screwing you over.
• Beachside massages
• 9am diving
• Beef in red chilli paste
• Pineapple on a stick
• Watermelon shakes
• The code of the backpacker (idle but ever so friendly chat, vague directions and chang t-shirts)
• Photocopied books
• Swedish women
• White sandy beaches
