The game will miss him greatly. Easily up there with Jordan, Pele and Armstrong as sporting icons who redefined how their sport can be played, Warney is the greatest cricketer I have ever seen play the game and if you don’t hold much stock in what I say, then turn to Richie Benaud for his thoughts on the man.

You have to give the man credit, he could single handedly destroy teams.
