The Man Who Knew

So the 5th anniversary of 9/11 passed with a flurry of documentaries and dramas on every conceivable angle imaginable. No theory was left wildly unreported or recycled for our conspiracy pleasure.

I managed to ignore all of them with the exception of the hugely compelling, if ultimately unproven, The Path to 9/11, which told the startling story of FBI Director John O'Neill. O'Neill was in effect The Man Who Knew but thanks to underfunding, internal politics and a President more concerned with keeping his dick in check, became The Man Who Got Right Royally Pissed Off And Left...

And where did he go? In a twist of fate that even Hollywood would sheepishly back away from, he became Head of Security for the World Trade Centre. Sadly O'Neill died on September 11th in the second tower having gone back in to help those fleeing. He was one of the good guys.
