The Samba Spirit At The Berlin Fan Fest

Fuelled on caiprihinas, myself and some of the eBay team made it in to the Fan Fest in Berlin for the Brazil-Croatia game. The match was a bit of a damp squib, one nil to the yellows, but just being at the World Cup meant I could tick off another box on the must-see-before-I-die list!


When Brazil come to town the party always kicks off and this was no different. The sqaure, located right behind the famous Berlin landmark, The Brandenburg Gate, was packed. Fans of all countries tightly packed together in a seething mass of football fandom - brilliant.


The flares added some more colour and then after the game I made it round to the other side of the gate to see the football sculpture that was located under the BBC studios.
