My Precious!

Nina and I headed down to an old eBay contact to finally buy her engagement ring. Being someone who has never worn jewellery I find it quite hard to relate to the allure of diamonds and pearls, but there is obviously some symbolic value in an engagement ring that makes a girl go all wobbly at the knees. My bank manager might be feeling the same sensation this morning, but I can now honestly say, thanks to Charles, that the whole experience was something I was really thrilled to be part of.
