For the last few weeks, Ricky Gervais and team have been broadcasting a weekly podcast on the Guardian site. It centers in the main around the imaginative rantings of Ricky's friend Karl who, it is apparent, has a thing for news involving monkeys. It's funny in patches and when at its best - feels like you've just walked in on a pub conversation between your mates, who are in the middle of trying to decide who would put up a better fight - a one eyed badger or an angry otter.
